Eligibility of Membership
To be a member of CLT, the eligibility conditions are as under:
(a) He/She must be a ‘teacher’ as defined in Rule 4 (dd) of the Rules and Regulations of the Confederation of Law Teachers who has submitted his/her duly completed application for membership as prescribed and has paid the prescribed fee/subscription; and
(b) Has attained the age of twenty-five on the date of submitting his/her application.
2dd) "Teacher" means a full-time faculty member whether in service or retired, irrespective of designation or duration of employment, who is or was engaged in teaching and research in Law in a Law Department/Faculty of any Central University, State University, National Law University, Deemed University, Law College or Private University/ any other Department/University including institution offering interdisciplinary education where law is taught as a subject.
How to Apply?
Membership applications must be submitted using the format specified by the Executive Council, which may change from time to time. Applicants should present their completed forms to the Secretary of the Association along with the required fees and relevant documentation. Applications can be submitted online through the website or in person, along with the payment of the subscription fee.
The application will be reviewed at the next Executive Council meeting for approval. Once membership is approved, the new member will receive an official membership letter or certificate, signed by both the Chairperson and the General Secretary. If an application for membership is denied, the reasons for the refusal will be communicated to the applicant.
Membership Admission Fees:

Membership Fee for Founding Members shall be: Rs 15,000/- Rupees Ten Thousand Only)

Other Members/Ordinary Members

The admission fee for the ordinary member shall be Rs 1000/- at the time of registration and shall pay an annual subscription fee Rs. 1000/- only.

Lifelong membership fee Rs. 25000.

Re-registration after removal or suspension charges: 5000

Honorary Membership- NIL
-
Miscellaneous charges payable by the members shall be decided by the Governing Body from time to time.
